Zonda® XL is a long-length terracotta sunscreen (up to 1500 mm long), rectangular in shape.
It is available in two formats, eleven colours and two finishes (smooth and glazed). It is well suited for large-scale use.

Zonda® XL 10 and 15 are self-supporting but securing them and making them safe requires one or two aluminum tubes to be passed through them.
Fixing plates at both ends join the assembly to a vertical supporting structure, possibly fi tted «offset». Zonda® XL 10, which takes a single tube, requires an antirotation device at the ends.

> Shade provided: wide and fi ne Zonda® XL should be spaced at between 200 and 300 mm centres. > Impact resistance: an impact on Zonda® XL subjects the product directly to high levels of stress, with no possibility of reinforcing it. It is therefore advisable to use it in areas not subjected to a high risk from impacts. The metal tubes passing through the products prevent dangerous debris from falling in the event of breakage. > Wind resistance: wind loading on Zonda® XL subjects the terracotta to a bending stress. This material’s strength, with a maximum in excess of 10 MPa, makes it suitable for use in most normal wind exposure situations in France for lengths up to 1500 mm, on condition that there are no concentrations of stress, due to an inappropriate fi xing system.
